WARNING: do this procedure AFTER flash a stock rom, NOT AFTER flash an IWT ROM!

IMPORTANT: after the flash you have to wipe ALL DATA

- Dowload THIS
- Load the scatter
- If you have the original recovery change the recovery in the package with TWRP (DOWNLOAD). If you already have the TWPR recovery deselect the checkpoint of recovery
- Flash and reboot in recovery mode
- In recovery mode do a wipe of data and cache (factory reset in TWRP)
- Reboot and enjoy

FIRST INSTALLATION FOR 2012 MODELS - CLASSIC ROMS

- Download the IWT UNIVERSAL BASIC ROM zip and the update zip rom for your phone (1.3.1 actually for both)
- If you came from another custom rom please return to 4.1.2 stock rom (see the tutorial) and AFTER install iwt rom
- Boot into recovery mode and flash the zip file
- Reboot system
- Make the initial welcome setup
- Reboot system into recovery mode and flash the update zip rom - WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK NOT NEEDED
- Reboot and enjoy

FIRST INSTALLATION FOR 2012 MODELS - FUSION ROMS

- Make a backup of your data first! Selective backup (eg. Titanium Backup) of apps/contacts/messages BUT NOT VARIOUS SETTINGS (system, network etc.)
- Download the IWT FUSION ROM zip
- If you came from another custom NON IWT rom please return to 4.1.2 stock rom (see the tutorial) and AFTER install iwt rom
- Boot into recovery mode and flash the zip file
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Reboot

IMPORTANT!

After initial setup:

- Open the app mtknoled and press read setting then press LED disable and close (this fix DS bugs)
- Enable root under developer menu
- Disable recommendation chinese app under home (home settings)
- Open power+ app and set low battery popup at 5%
- (Optional) disable lewa anonym stats under security settings

Then reboot and enjoy!





- This procedure need a factory reset of the phone, then backup your data (sms, contacts, apps etc.) but NOT SYSTEM SETTINGS with for example Titanium Backup
- If you have installed the TWRP recovery backup all with it, in case you want to return to previous state like a time machine


- Take a full stock rom - Stock 4.1.2 HERE
- Change the preloader and dsp_bl files with THIS
- Change the original recovery with TWRP (DOWNLOAD)
- Use flashtool inside the stock rom, return to stock rom using the function "FIRMWARE UPGRADE" instead of "DOWNLOAD" if possible



- Wipe the data (factory reset) and reboot

TETHERING WIFI

- At first boot just authorize super user permission to tether JB app (pop-up comes automatically)


RESET TO 4.1.2 STOCK ROM FOR 2012 MODELS

- Take a full stock rom - Stock 4.1.2 HERE
- Add the Uboot.img DOWNLOAD
- Change the original recovery with TWRP (DOWNLOAD)
- DOWNLOAD flashtool, return to stock rom using the function "FIRMWARE UPGRADE" instead of "DOWNLOAD"

RESET TO 4.1.2 STOCK ROM FOR 2013 MODELS

- Take a full stock rom - Stock 4.1.2 HERE
- Change the preloader and dsp_bl files with THIS
- Change the original recovery with TWRP (DOWNLOAD)
- Use flashtool inside the stock rom, return to stock rom using the function "FIRMWARE UPGRADE" instead of "DOWNLOAD" if possible

IF FLASHTOOL GIVE ERROR 4xxx or 3xxx or SOC verification failed

A:

• Download root explorer
• Go to system/lib/modules
• See if the properties of wlan.ko file, after the date and permissions, are -> wlan_mt6628.ko
• If yes you have the 2013 version, if is -> wlan_mt6620 you have the 2012 version
