TUTORIALS
ROM installation:
- shutdown Your phone
- plug in charger
- hold vol+ & power button to boot into CWM or TWRP recovery
- perform factory reset and system format
- install ROM by selecting "install zip from sdcard" option
- wait till installation finishes
- reboot into new system
CREATING CWM FLASHABLE FILES
FLASHING CWM USING SP FLASH TOOL
FLASHING CWM USING MOBILEUNCLE TOOLS
- download MTK Droid Tools (posted in main thread)
- download latest Original iOcean X7 firmware (posted in main thread)
- connect Your phone via USB cable with 'usb debugging' option on in "developer options" menu in Settings
- run MTK Droid Tools and give it few seconds to start ADB and recognize your cell
- move to second tab in main window called "root, backup, recovery"
- select option "To choose the boot.img file" & press big button named "Recovery and Boot"
- in this step choose the "boot.img" file from original FW
- next choose "recovery.img" file from original FW
- the program will compile CWM automatically
- new "boot" and "recovery" img files will be created in MTK Droid Tools folder (in "recovery" subfolder)
FLASHING CWM USING SP FLASH TOOL
- download and open SP Flash Tool (posted in main thread)
- make sure you have the MTK USB drivers installed in Your system
- open "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt" from original iOcean X7 firmware (posted in main thread)
- de-select all checkboxes in main window except those named "BOOTIMG" and "RECOVERY"
- now click on the filename next to "BOOTIMG" and navigate to "boot.img" file created in MTK Droid Tools
- next click on the filename next to "RECOVERY" and navigate to "recovery.img" file created in MTK Droid Tools
- now shutdown Your phone and remove battery for a few seconds, then put it back in
- click "Download" button placed in the top meny bar in SP Flash Tool
- now connect Your phone using USB cable and watch the magic happen ("OK" with green circle should appear)
- start Your phone - CWM is in place - to enter, power off the phone and use VOL+ & POWER buttons when connected to charger
FLASHING CWM USING MOBILEUNCLE TOOLS
- copy "recovery.img" file created with MTK Droid Tools to the root of Your SD card (internal or external - it doesn't matter)
- download "mobileuncle tools" from Play Store on Your rooted phone
- start the application and grant it su rights
- choose "Recovery Update" option and You'll see your previously copied "recovery.img" file from SD card
- click it and confirm that You want to flash it
- you can enter CWM via MobileUncle app or by using VOL+ & POWER button combination when phone is turned off and powered via charger
TWRP recovery creation & flashing/installation:

Stock firmware ROOT
- make sure You have turned on 'usb debugging' option on in "developer options" menu in Settings
- download "motochopper" application (posted in main thread)
- connect Your phone using USB cable to computer
- unpack the archive and start the application
- now just confirm that You want to root Your phone and wait till it reboots !!
