INSTALLATION STEPS (to flash via Recovery):

1. Download COLOSSUS™ ROM & copy on sdcard
3. Reboot to CWM/TWRP recovery
4. First time flashers >> Select wipe data/factory reset, Yes - Wipe all user data
_________(DON'T WIPE ANYTHING IF YOU WERE ON PREVIOUS VERSION)
6. Select install zip, choose zip from sdcard and Flash (Yes - Install)
7. Select advance, wipe dalvik cache, Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache now
_________UPTO HERE YOU ARE DONE WITH FULL ROM!!
8. After flashing full version see if there is any update. Download , FLASH IT AND REBOOT.
_________While flashing update do not wipe anything before or after flashing.

FAQ:



1. How to enable air command?

- Hold capacitive menu button



2. How to use multi window?

- Drag 2 apps from sidebar to home screen



3. How to hide/show sidebar?

- Long press back key button for 2-3 seconds



4. How to install OTA update(s) after downloading?

- Uncheck wipe data and wipe cache before installing OTA update(s).



5. Why Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped?

- If you have facebook messenger installed, just drag the chat head(s) down to close it. Then reopen facebook messenger in app drawer to restore System UI back to normal.

- Another workaround is to install Xposed Installer/Framework and Gravity Box [JB] then activate it in Xposed Installer modules then reboot. Open Gravity Box and select Navigation keys actions and set Home key Long-press action to Show recent apps.

- It is also recommended to install Xposed and GravityBox or other modules in Internal Memory for proper functioning. Read next question about Xposed/GravityBox.

- Branded Android devices from known companies like HTC, SAMSUNG, SONY, etc. also encounter this problem when facebook messenger is installed.


6. Why Led indicator (sms/call notifications at top) is not working for incoming missed-call or missed-sms?

- Open Light Manager (included in rom) and change LED color to "Green" for CALLS and SMS and also run Test to check color. LEDs of A116 can show only two colors, Green and Red, so do not change to any other color, else LED LIGHTS will not work.


7. FONTS option in settings does Force Closes. What to do?

- The Fonts option in settings is related to iFont App. Just install from playstore and it will work. You may also need to restart phone and clear Dalvik Cache. It was tested ok but missed in this first build upload.


8 - Xposed / Gravity Box not working?

A- Xposed works perfect in this rom. But make sure that Xposed Installer and all its modules are installed in Internal memory and not sd card.
____1) Run App Manager and Move "Xposed Installler" and "Graviti Box" or all other modules to Internal Memory.
____2) Run Xposed and in Frameworks again Run "INSTALL/UPDATE" and reboot.
____3) Now just UNCHECK Gravity Box and RE-CHECK Gravity Box and again reboot.
This works perfect on this rom too and is tested ok, though installed modules other than GravityBox.
This method works on other roms too.

9 - I can's see or setup Live Wallpaper. Why?

A - For some strange reason it was excluded from the rom, but as some people may still want it, here is the patch only for Colossus Rom on any ported model

10 - How to enable or disable sidebar and run two apps in MultiWindow?

A - To get familiar with sidebar watch this video

11 - Why phone eats too much of RAM?

A - Rem Zej's Tip of this: After playing heavy games or using heavy apps, just put your phone into sleep for 5s to kill all background cached processes then wake it up again to have a fresh and clean memory system no need to restart your phone. Reference
12 - My GPS is not connecting in India/out of India. What to do?

Installation:
BATTERY: Keeping battery to 100% is recommended before flashing.
BACKUP: Take BACKUP from recovery, useful in case you mess up. Or try Titanium to backup data and apps.

1) Download ROM and store on Internal or External SD
2) Start TWRP/CWM Recovery Mode
3) Take full backup in recovery mode.
3) Do Data Factory Reset [Warning: Data will be deleted)
4) Install ROM and Reboot Phone.

Date & Time settings issue for users out of India:
-- This rom have Base Rom from India and some people outside India may get FC while doing manual date settings and its known issue related to Indian MT6589 chipset phones used out of country. It is recognized by GravityBox and they have provided a fix for it. Please do this workaround to fix. Even if users do not do this workaround, the rom works perfect in Automatic mode.

FAQ

1) Why there is more battery drain in Final v1.0+ than v0.3F?

Answer: In v0.3f stock launcher is removed and only single Free Nova Launcher was provided which was experimental step. The launcher performance was smooth and great due to Nova's commercial skills. Its very lightweight and less battery consumer. But in Final V1.0 , completely removed NOVA and re-added Stock Launcher which takes more space in memory and also few more points of battery is consumed.

But now in 1.5 , both launchers are installed and it is suggested to select NOVA LAUNCHER when asked for default launcher. However you still have choice to select all wallpapers from stock launcher.

2) I have TWRP 2.6.3.0 and getting "cannot create folder" error when I try to take backup?

Answer: Solution A) Visit this link for simple workaround for this 2.6.3.0 backup issue.
Solution B) If possible try to be on TWRP v2.5.0.0, it works flawlessly. You can install it with Mobile Uncle too. Just copy recovery.img on root of external sdcard and run "Mobile uncle tool" app and click update recovery and select this recoery.img file. No need for 2.6.3.0 when 2.5.0.0 is working flawlessly.

3) GPS is not fixing out of Bhaarat (India). Any solution?

Answer: GPS locks very fast in Bhaarat (India), tested ok. Its possible that for users out of Bhaarat, GPS may not lock. Try updating EPO Assistance as mentioned on this post. Carefully read all steps. May solve your problem like many others confirmed.
4) BootLogo Not Changing? After your rom, I flashed another rom, but the your bootlogo remained/not changed. Why it is still showing? How to restore back to Original Canvas HD bootlogo?

Answer: Generally every rom-makers should wipe previous Boot-Logo and install fresh logo for new rom, but if they dont do it, it is obvious bootlogo from previous rom will keep showing. There are many workaround for this.
---- Flash this DEFAULT LOGO patch.
---- If still previous logo is seen for 1 second while booting, then find and delete this file /system/media/images/boot_logo


5) My GPS is not connecting in India/out of India. What to do?

Answer: GPS works perfect in Bhaarat (India) without any workaround, tested ok. But for some it may not work at first attempt. You may try updating EPO Assistance on following link. 6) Titanium Backup not recognizing External SDCard. How to fix/setup Memory Swapping and Mapping?

After this patch your memory will be mapped freshly, so you may need to go to reset: Settings > Storage > SDCard option for all apps to work normally.
