To make the transition from Nougat to Oreo you need to do the "Format data" from recovery and so you will lose all the files you have on the internal memory card. Save everything you want first. You will have to put the Rom in the micro sdcard or flash through OTG. Full-wipe is also included in the Rom but the first time it is better to do it also by recovery.
